“Germination”
textile series:
Her textile series builds on her photography work, using printed images as a base to create in a more active gestural art. The act of sewing becomes for her a meditative state, clearing distractions and turning emotional into a purposeful, what she calls "mindful disturbance action that frees my thoughts and emotions in all directions, allowing them to unfold organically without forced resolution and immediate external influences".
